LEC successfully carried out the construction project of 440/110 kV substation Isokankaan, the objective of which was to ensure the network stability in the northern region of Finland.
LEC conducted the assembly of high voltage equipment, the primary connection assembly, relay protection and automation systems assembly, and built the network of control cables and power network. The company was in charge of the ASI lighting construction and installation of the wiring in the control building. For LEC this project provided valuable experience in assembly of 400 kV equipment, as well as in the assembly of such type of pantograph separator, which are not used in Latvia. This project allowed LEC to demonstrate their professionalism and quality of work in Finland; the client gave positive feedback to the quality of the assembly work carried out by LEC.
